Where can I get a Free download of COGO, CIVIL and SURVEY software for Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors?

Well, you can usually get a 30 day evaluation disk from AutoCad. TDS out of Oregon offers a similiar 30 day trial. They also offer an unlimited 'crippleware' program (you can not save your product).

After the 30 days, tho it gets expensive.

BUT.. conversely,

AutoCad is pretty much the industry standard for standard Civil / Survey packages designed for desktops. You may be able to find someone that is selling their license.. much cheaper that way since you only have to pay for updates

TDS is ok. but not as powerful or with as many bells and whistles

and, in the long run.. especially with free programs, you get what you pay for.

On the web when it says like for example get take a survey and get a free laptop?

DO NOT LISTEN!!!!!!!! Those make you put down your'e address and stuff so they can send you junk mail! Go by this saying "if it's to good to be true then it isn't"

On the web when it says like for example get take a survey and get a free laptop?
I think I would call that......hmmmm.....BULLSHIT!
Reply:for real dont do it, i did once and then it made me sign up for this face cream crap and i paid the shipping and handling then 10 days later it took $106 outta my bank account. now im broke its a scam.
Reply:Read everything carefully. All that stuff is subject to "Terms and Conditions".

It might be that you are simply entered into a contest if you answer the survey, where one winner gets a laptop.

More than likely, it is one of these marketing services that claims you are getting something for free based on "participation". Participation consists of buying certain products or signing up for certain services which cost money. Supposedly, if you participate in the required number of "offers", they will send you the free gift. I have heard people that actually received Plasma TVs by doing this. I have also heard of people that bought a bunch of stuff they didn't need, thought they had met all the requirements, but never received their free gift or were told that they hadn't met all of the requirements. You could easily spend as much or more money fulfilling the participation requirements as you would spend just to buy the free gift. If you need the products and services required to meet the participation requirements, it might be a good deal as at least you stand the chance of getting something extra for free for buying stuff you would have bought anyway.

Reply:I take paid Surveys and tend to make an extra £100 - £200 a month in either cash or Vouchers mostly for High Street or Internet Stores like Amazon. You should give http://www.cashforsurveys.co.uk a try for a pretty good list of the free Survey sites in the UK. Good Luck!!
Reply:There are plenty of opportunities for those living in the UK to do internet surveys. I don't know much about postal surveys in the UK, so I won't say much about that, other than that they are slowly becoming obsolete.

Make sure that before you sign up with any online survey company, they at least have a privacy policy listed on their website so that you understand how they are using your personal information. Just a heads up - it's not normally a problem.

What I know about the UK is that out where you are, online surveys tend more to be for cash, and the payouts are normally higher than would they would be in the US or Canada, so congrats!

Have fun - online surveys are great.
Reply:I like MyPoints.com. They never spam me. They just send me 3 or 4 emails a day to click on and view the advertisers content to earn 5 points. It takes up less than a minute of your time! I never have to sign up for anything and they have never shared my email address with others. You can also refer friends for 100 points each once they reach their first 100 points. I've been a member for a long time now and have used my points for 50.00 gift certificates often. You can sign up under me by emailing me at debi@dmcal.com and I will get the 100 points or you can just go to MyPoints.com and sign up on your own. Totally your choice, I'm just trying to help really :-)
Reply:Go to Amazing Surbey Site! (Ages 5 - 18)

Make Sure to Use Referral Code: JHFIRE019

Each survey you complete gets you points, and you can buy lots of stuff.

It is very easy to earn enough points for prizes. They offer lots of stuff!

Does anyone know a free, paid, legitimate online survey site?

One that would be worth the effort....

Does anyone know a free, paid, legitimate online survey site?
unfortunately there are an abundance of scams that turn people off from the whole process of making money online... especially paid surveys...... however, there are still a few legit sites that exist, and I have finally found the perfect guide informing people of these sites... the site is flushed with video tutorials, that can help you make a few extra bucks online.. they also have proof of payment pictures to show that these sites are not scams.

*the key is not to just sign up for one site and expect loads of riches, but to sign up for a few and have the smaller checks add up*

*be mindful of the sites you sign up for... check out reviews of the site in yahoo answers before wasting your time*
Reply:Some sites pay more than others, dependent on which niche or target market they are after.

I have found a site that lists all the legitimate survey sites, and ranks them by payment type, age and country. They also provide reviews and a forum to discuss payments

Anyone know of any online survey wizards?

I need to conduct a survey for a class. Are there any free online survey wizards that I can use for this?

Anyone know of any online survey wizards?
www.bravenet.com has surveys you can set up for free. http://www.misterpoll.com/ also has free surveys (there have been some objectionable ads on Mrpoll before though). I'm not sure if either of these would meet your requirements. If you need just basic answers, they might do. If you need things like "How many people who answered yes to question 1 answered no to question 5?" they won't be able to do that.
