Has anyone ever tried on of those survey for free laptop, or games?

I was just wondering if it really work

Has anyone ever tried on of those survey for free laptop, or games?
yea I did....I tried one once. I went thru the whole thing. I had to finnally comit to a purchase and when I completed the purchase (which was joined a movie cd club) the y would sent me a free laptop. To complete the purchase agreement I had to buy 3 movies at regular price, but all the gimmick movies that I bought for a fraction of the reg. price did not go towards the fuilfillment of the agreement, to make this short I finalized the agreement by buying the 3 movies, %26amp; canceled the account. I then hunted for 2 days for the web site that had promised me the free laptop ( never found the site, never got the free laptop) called the company that I bought the movies from and asked them how to claim my free laptop and was told they knew nothing about this.

and one more thing.....notice my name I used to be popeyebob@yahoo.com, but everyday I had to delete 1000's or more junk mail and this was back when yahoo only allowed you 10meg e-mail or it would be so fuul that I could not recieve anymore e-mail. well yahoo closed my account. now I am thepopeyebob@yaoo.com and that much wiser......a free anything will only get you a lot of free spam junk mail, and a lot of headaches.
Reply:Yeah I stayed doing a survey for about an hour. it was never ending so I just gave up. I wasted time and never got ****.
Reply:now take a big tip here they are a con...

they just want to download spyware malware, and addware onto your computer,, no one gives away computers.... and no one gives cash either so don't even think of answering any of these websites
Reply:It's a 100% scam to get your info or email.
Reply:nah, i ain't that stupid, they make you do a survey and tell you to make 10 more people to take the survey to be eligible to win. but you never will.

don't believe in those
Reply:I never did and I don't think they work. Who would give a laptop away for free???
Reply:I know someone who did. They never got anything free, but the amount of spam email increased 100 fold. It made them want to close their email account after a few months.
Reply:If it sounds too good to be true it usually is!
Reply:They ask sooooooo many questions that you just want to quit. I never got to the end of the question survey.

E
Reply:usually it's a come on to get you to purchase something else
