Where can i download area computation, latitude/departure programs for free for surveying?

i need to compute the area of a parcel of lot and use a suitable program so i do not compute manually so I can print the results easily. This is a surveying program which can generate results even for several lots. If I cannot download a free program can you inform me of what program should I look or purchase.

I faced the same probleme several time here is my advice :


to calculate the area of a 2D plan like building blue prints or topographic maps use Adobe Acrobat program - measurement tools . simply draw a rough sketch of the land toscale and scan it to adobe and use the area tool.





for the latitude and departure use the MS Excel spread sheets, you have to input the readings by hand and write functions for calculations





with regards to specialized programs in surveying, I searched for a while with no results

You type the address of your house with zip code, it will zoom to your street and you'll see your house from the sky in clear view. Police %26amp; fireman use this to come to your place.


It also comes with elevation, lat %26amp; long. Uncle Sam and the military, not us though, has a version that can see the license plate of your car on the street!
