Reply:I am a born again Christian. It is not a religion it is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Reply:i grew up roman catholic, even went to catholic school, but havent been to church since i graduated.
Reply:I'm a UCC (United Church of Christ) minister for 46 years but my beliefs have changed so much that I no longer can explain my "beliefs" to most people. My kids all assume I'm an agnostic, and God (!) forbid I should mention atheist! More a humanist, with a philosophy that easily rules out a human-like personality in the universe (that's just TOO childish!) but one that allows for openness of thought, while at the same time slamming the door on silliness and nonsense (such as Scientology, belief in elves or other New Age stuff.)





It wasn't so much my five years of graduate theological school (and two advanced degrees) but realizing that the people in my churches did NOT want to think, did NOT want sermons that led them to think, and certainly NOT want me to ask questions. They wanted to remain at third grade Sunday School level. I found I could no longer do that and remain anywhere near honest to myself...so I quit and became an Adlerian psychotherapist. -- Dr. Bob
Reply:I'm a practicing Roman Catholic with non-traditional beliefs. I have a wide variety of friends including Wiccans and other pagans which probably wouldn't sit too well with my parish priest.
Reply:Unitarian Universalist...more spiritual than religious.
